The "ideal org" strategy is so far off the rails it doesn't even resemble the original crazy plan when Miscavige announced it in the early 2000's. He proclaimed that orgs required large enough buildings to be able to deliver "all the services", including a Public Divisions space large enough to accommodate what I called his FART program (Fully Automated Robot TV) whereby staff would be replaced by videos to "explain scientology). I laid this out in some detail in a posting from 2015 entitled What Is The Ideal Org Program? Originally, OT Committees were supposed to raise the … [Read more...]
Thursday Funnies
Plenty of good laughs this week... Experience Your Own? Just by going to graduation? The thrill of fruit... Grammar fail Greg and Elizabeth has achieved.... Yo, Dave. When is the Golden Age of KTL coming? The Power of Canada! On display with the CO FSSO and Jim Meskimen? Attend live in your local org? A "live" zoom call? This is definitely going to make the whole country ideal... There are still orgs in Canada that after 20 years have gone nowhere -- Calgary, Edmonton. Let alone Toronto and they didn't even need to buy a … [Read more...]
Lamer and Lamer
Why do they even put this stuff out? This is so weak it is almost like a parody. Imagine The Onion doing a satire promoting the OT Committee. This is what they might come up with. Why is it so good to join the OT Committee? Because no matter what you are able to do or are interested in doing you can fit right in.... Now isn't that the definition of OT? And the image of what an ideal OT Committee member looks like? It's hard to be sure this isn't a promotional piece for the knitting circle at a retirement community? Or the old ad "I've fallen and I can't get up." And those glasses... … [Read more...]
Hyper Hype Inflation
Here is some fascinating insight into the world of "OT." This "OT," according to her estimation, had no confront. Then she got onto OT VII. Apparently even that didn't do it for her either. Knocking on people's doors to fundraise "changed me like nothing else ever would. My confront has skyrocketed as well as my abilities..." So, asking for money finally raised her confront and brought her "skyrocketed" abilities. What does that say about the power of these OT levels? This is SO typically scientology. Whatever it is that you are trying to promote or write a success story about … [Read more...]
Some Funnies
This is a random collection of things sent in recently. There is little rhyme or reason to them. Hubbard Logic Wrap your brain around this. So, if there is anything you disagree with in scientology it is because you haven't properly recalled what you already knew... Roping in an Ideal Org What they are actually doing is roping in some suckers. Though at this point, I cannot imagine anyone participating in any event like this that isn't already intending to hand over some cash. The more important question. Why is the Valley OT Committee wasting time on Albuquerque … [Read more...]
It’s “Virtual OT”
Truth in advertising? From scientology? Must be inadvertent. There is plenty of evidence that there is no such thing as an "OT" despite what Hubbard claimed. But now, it seems we are getting closer to the truth in the scientology claims about this. Now we are seeing "virtual OT's".. I wonder if there is really any difference between a "virtual" OT and a fake OT? Or one that is a "mental image picture" or even just pure imagination? These virtual OT "NCB's" (New Civilization Builders - they actually use this term with a straight face) don't seem to be able to get their act … [Read more...]
UK “Pub Quiz”
This is a really weird one. Surely it is some form of fundraising -- but with a 25 pound "entrance fee" and "top prizes" being awarded, even if they got 20 people to sign up (doubtful) they're not making much money... Or maybe the quiz is "How much money do you have available?" "Can you apply for a loan?" "Have you taken out a second mortgage on your house?" "Do you really need a second car?" But you have to wonder: Why aren't they doing their extension courses? And how is this better than bowling or other dilettante activities Hubbard was so derisive of? A Pub Quiz? Seems … [Read more...]
Flag OT Committee
Some news from the Flag OT Committee. Like to keep up with them every now and then just so there is a record of their zaniness. This first one was obviously from a week or so ago. I found it especially interesting they brought in someone from Italy on the basis they are "booming" and have "highest ever stats going on!" You just cannot get much more out of touch with reality than that. At the peak of the horrific pandemic crisis in Italy they are promoting their highest ever stats... And we also have a list of "BridgeFlow Superstars" that I have put in searchable format for … [Read more...]
Flag OT Committee
Just to make a record, every now and then I like to publish the names in searchable form of the clubbed seals that form the Flag OT Committee so if anyone Googles them they might find their names listed here. As a side note, there are lot of former SO members on this list. This is one of the fairly recent weekly commendations that are sent out: The following OT Members are COMMENDED for reporting their stats for W/E 01/30/2020: ALEX ECKELBERRY DIA BORNET KATHY STRASSER RALF HAUG ALICE BELLUCCI DON KARL KATHY WACH RALPH CRISCIONE ALISON OSBORN DONNA BARNA KATHY ZWERS RANDY … [Read more...]
Names of the Flag OT Committee
This is a lazy post today, so I can take a day off. I am simply including the latest commendation from the Flag OT Committee which lists all the active members of the Committee. The mos gung-ho clapping seals of the Tampa Bay scientology community. Scientology is trying to promote “I am a scientologist” but it’s hard to find out who they are so now their names (other than seeing them inside the magazine). Their names will now be searchable on google... If you search for CLEARWATER SCIENTOLOGISTS these names should show up. This is the email they sent out: The following OTC … [Read more...]
