Well, this is as blatant as it gets. The "OT Committee", according to Hubbard policy is to help orgs expand and get people onto and up the bridge. That is apparently "old" "tech". Nowadays their role is to exclusively collect money. And that about sums up the state of scientology today. After sending out the above, the next notification is this: Well, let me take one guess as to what this "new" program consists of... Nothing to do with getting money of course. … [Read more...]
Flag OTC Minutes
Some epic news hot off the press from the mighty Flag OT Committee... Fundraising, fundraising and more fundraising. Orlando NOW has 35 staff. Wow! And they are "doing very well on recruiting." Once again, scientology discloses the fact they are spending tens of millions of dollars for a building for people that do not exist. 35 staff (and you can bet this figure is bs as EVERY figure ever presented by scientology is ALWAYS bs) is supposed to be the size of a Mission. They have another 165 staff to go to be SH size and a real "ideal org." They're not even 20% of the way … [Read more...]
Flag OTC
Bubbles Champagne and her gang of merry fools are still bubbling along... As always, they reveal more than they think with their hype-minutes. If you were looking for theetie-weetie... Jim Wavell (can't even spell his name right...) was the cook on the Apollo. In a "galley" that was right out of a Dickens novel. His interactions with Hubbard were minimal or zero -- he might have spotted him once when Hubbard ventured onto the dock, but that was about all. Don't get me wrong, he is a nice guy, but it's like having someone do a briefing on what the Beatles were like because they … [Read more...]
Flag OTC Minutes & LRH Aftermath
The latest and greatest from the biggest and best OT Committee on earth. Some interesting tidbits in here. As announced by the ex-WDC member Anna Paddock (one of the morons who showed up at the Rathbun's to check on their "squirreling") -- the "Clear event" was a "big success" with 30 attendees. Remember, scientology claims 12,000+ members in the Tampa Bay area. Doesn't appear to be a "big success" even if there is only 10% of that number of scientologists. David Pomeranz's wife is the "OT IX and X Get Ready Pjt Officer"... Must be good to have a lifetime and beyond appointment. She … [Read more...]
Flag OTC News
Some interesting information here. Plenty of evidence things are not all peachy at Flag. Just a few comments: They are trying to double the number of IAS members by reducing the annual membership fee and sending a mailing to everyone who has ever bought a book! Ha. Good luck with that. Although they disclose the REAL intent -- to get people to higher statuses and that is ONLY about money. THE most successful Clear event yet had 30 attendees. Yes, 30. And they then go on to say there are more Clears than any other case level... There are less than 50,000 people on earth who … [Read more...]
An Org in Trouble
One of our South African Special Correspondents sent us the latest news from Durban Org. It's not looking good for scientology in Durban. Her comments follow, and then the item to which she refers. This is Durban org’s OTC Newsletter for August. To all intents and purposes it looks like they’re sliding into total oblivion. First pic shows something that happened in July - and at Joburg Org. 6 people – 2 of whom are Sea Org (on the left – they’re a married couple posted at Durban Org). The two chaps kneeling I THINK might also be staff. The other two are Nick & Marina Howarth – pretty … [Read more...]
Thursday Funnies
Someone commented last week that this would be the 100th edition of Thursday Funnies.... And I think that is correct based on the numbering of the link. \ Quite a centenary. And we have a lot of funnies for today. It must be noted that these weekly funnies would not be possible without the support of many who forward the information to me each week. Tampa Has No Speakers How bizarre - this org is nearly "double SH Size" and they don't have anyone to deliver a Tone Scale lecture other than importing a mercenary blood sucker. More strange quotes... Many scientologists … [Read more...]
Valley OTC Minutes
For the record. These have been accumulating for a while. The Special Correspondent who so diligently forwards these to me noted that it is interesting to look at these over time as you can see the false promises and pitches roll out and the things that are said in March that will happen in April go by without comment and then you start seeing new targets on the same thing in June. It is truly the donkey with the carrot on a stick -- the only difference being the donkey is being ridden by vampires that inexorably suck the blood out of it, til it falls to the wayside and they jump on a new … [Read more...]
The Flag OT Farce
Been busy, so just a bit of a throw-away today. Was just sent the latest edition of the Flag "OT Committee" newsletter (though it contains little "news," mostly rah-rah imploring people to do something). Clearly their delusions of grandeur are reinforced each year by the "Maiden" Voyage events. Bubbles Champagne and her team returned fully replenished with hype. This mightiest of mighty forces has yet to see a done on Miami, Orlando or Puerto Rico ideal org -- let alone Tampa org's CF.... This after a dozen or more "Maiden" voyage celebrations and returning with newfound enthusiasm to … [Read more...]
Battlefield Earth Sales Going Nowhere
Well, the "OT Committee Farce" is doing their damnedest to sell Battlefield Earth -- and how are they going about it? By telling everyone to buy 20 books a piece.... And this is a "religious activity". But the biggest joke of all is that unlike the recent books by Leah Remini and Ron Miscavige, Battlefield Earth is nowhere to be found on the NY Times bestseller list... This is a good indicator just how many scientologists there REALLY are in the US. Every scientologist is being pressured HARD to buy copies of BE. It is an indicator of serious counter intention not to get behind this … [Read more...]
