The latest edition of Freedom magazine has hit the interwebs and it is doozy. The front cover features the scarehead SURVEILLANCE - SECRECY AND YOU. And a subhead reads: The scope of private information now being swept up from all Americans is daunting -- and the vast majority are kept in the dark Now, whether you believe this is something all citizens should be worried about, or whether you think it is an overblown scare tactic is not the point of this posting. The point is that scientology gathers more information about people than any government agency or corporation. Period. The paid … [Read more...]
L. Ron Hubbard The Movie!
This should be a treat! They are making a movie about L. Ron Hubbard -- no doubt to accompany a thorough drenching in Shermanspeak for the March 13 extravaganza. And it appears that this latest hagiography is going to focus on making Mr. Hubbard "hip" (after all, scientology IS the coolest religion on earth - it says so right on the t-shirts) by associating him with Jack Kerouac and Alan Ginsberg. Whoever Ian McBean was doesn't even rate a Wiki page -- I seem to recall Hubbard talking about some guy who was a British spy in China or something who taught him all sorts of amazing things. … [Read more...]
Scientology PR Desperation
Scientology is having a tough time getting any sort of positive coverage in the media. But they are scoring well on the negative side. When you measure the ratio in terms of column inches/minutes of entheta vs theta media, things are looking grim. So, in the face of that, they BUY press releases -- these particular ones go out on "GlobeNewswire" from the spiritual headquarters of scientology in Clearwater. They are pretty amusing. Check out this first one -- they are pleased to announce the addition of 100 new videos illustrating different aspect of scientology. Turns out they are … [Read more...]

URGENT - it's NOT happening Those super OT's don't seem to be making things go right. But you CAN always donate.... Talk freely I assume this is ONLY for people who have NOT completed Grade 0.... And I wonder how Barbara Dews would do in a conversation with any commenter on this blog? Shrivel up and vanish no doubt. OT IX for sale! 1985!!!! They sold him OT IX in 1985. THIRTY YEARS later and it's STILL no closer to being available. "These packages have a lot of value" ha ha ha ha BTW anyone stupid enough to buy this from him deserves … [Read more...]
Scientology/North Korea
A reader sent this to me the other day and I found it fascinating. The parallels between North Korea and scientology are unmistakeable. Below are excerpts from the article. I highlighted especially relevant sections. They need no explanation to anyone familiar with scientology's playbook that dictates how they must respond to "critics." Scientology is as clumsy and unbelievable as N. Korea in its denunciation of defectors. It's amusing to see: it seems everyone who leaves N. Korea or scientology is some form of sexual pervert, has stolen money or is being paid to say bad things about … [Read more...]
Scientology Lies — New Years’ Edition
Finally had a few minutes to peruse the latest International Scientology News recounting the epic, milestone New Years event. As usual, it is filled with hype, smoke, mirrors and lies. Just a few of the most glaring: This page is the "overview" of the magnificent accomplishments of 2016: 37 million "walked through our doors"? That is a ridiculous number. But let's take it at face value. Scientology claims "more than" 10,000 scientology "orgs, missions and associated groups" -- this means 3700 people each per YEAR. Or 10 per day. An average of 10 people per day darken … [Read more...]

Cause over the drug scene in Denver You do know that marijuana is legal there right? Mighty My Mammy 6 weeks to glory! Seriously, backlogged filing completed is "glory"? Fun goody bags Is this a kid's birthday party? Not so mighty? Even with Flag "doing it" and Nobbe's goody bags, 211,000 names in CF and all those 1970's letters from Ron about how great you are - you can manage only 24 people to help out on the most important project in the history of the universe? And where ARE Grant and Elena Cardone? There's … [Read more...]
New Scientology Lies
You may have seen this Los Angeles Times article mentioned on Tony Ortega's blog yesterday. A lone outlier precinct in Hollywood voted for Trump -- the precinct that has half its registered voters living in "Big Blue." So what is the lie? “The Church does not engage in election activities and cannot do so,” Scientology spokeswoman Karin Pouw said in an emailed statement. “Such decisions are not a matter of faith. The Creed of the Church makes clear that Scientology is open to all. This would include anyone regardless of their race, color, creed or political affiliation.” Well, let's sta … [Read more...]
“Fastest-Growing Religion in the 21st Century” UK Edition
More evidence that the "fastest-growing religion" is a sad lie. This time from the "home of L. Ron Hubbard" - the scientology headquarters in England at St. Hill. This was a "national" event for the most important activity in the scientology world -- fundraising for "ideal orgs." Here is where the UK stands on the "ideal org strategy" after 13 years. One ideal org in London -- bought by IAS. For ALL of London. CC London closed down. Buildings in Plymouth, Manchester, Birmingham and Sunderland that have stood empty for years as they do not have any funds to renovate them. Nothing … [Read more...]
Denver “Ideal” Org – The Lie of “Expansion”
Here is the REAL story about an "Ideal Org." These buildings are what scientology inform the world is "proof" of their massive international expansion. The hype is that "ideal orgs" "expand 10X". They are STILL circulating this poster. Denver had its ribbon yanked in 2012. Nearly 5 YEARS ago now. Miscavige claims that THIS is the strategy to make all orgs the size of old St Hill. First they have to be made "ideal." And then their "straight up and vertical" "10X" expansion begins. And they never look back. Oops -- Denver just let the cat out of the bag. Five years later, … [Read more...]
