The insanity of this is hard to comprehend. Here is an "OT VIII" proudly announcing the miracles of running in circles. For the SECOND time! If the theory of the grade chart is true, one advances step by step from the bottom to the top, each successive step building on the one before. You are NOT allowed to even see the OT materials until you have attained the steps below, and the same goes for each successive OT level after that. OT VIII is confidential until after you have completed OT VII, been declared eligible and paid for OT VIII. The so-called "Cause Resurgence … [Read more...]
Where Did Super Power Come From?
A cache of documents that recently came into possession of Christi Gordon contain some things I had not previously seen outside the Sea Org. ED 1598 FLAG about the "Humongous Rundown" is one of them. The "Humongous Rundown" was Hubbard's 1978 solution to staff incompetence (it preceded his subsequent "breakthroughs" to solve this problem including False Purpose Rundown, Key to Life and Life Orientation Courses) -- by staff incompetence is meant the fact that staff were incapable of following Ron's orders and policies, or if by doing so things wen5 badly or stats did not climb. The … [Read more...]
Now THAT’S a Success Story!
One of the things scientology is very good at it is peer pressure/reinforcement. A key tool of this technique is the "Success Story" which is required from every person who completes a service in scientology. Here is a classic example that ticks all the boxes of over the top gushing hype -- following a couple of weeks of running around a pole all day. And this is the SECOND TIME she has done this "rundown." I JUST COMPLETED MY 2ND CAUSE RESURGENCE RUNDOWN MARCH 4, 2022! I have been exterior since my last day of my Cause Resurgence Rundown last Friday … [Read more...]
Scientology Running In Circles. Literally
The "Cause Resurgence" Rundown is one of the greatest boondoggles scientology has ever foisted off as a "standard tech" "religious" service. The Running Program, as it was originally called, was used to punish crew at Golden Era who were, in the estimation of Miscavige, performing poorly. "Run around a pole until you get your shit together." The first person to do it was David Mayo, when he had been declared a terrible squirrel. Hubbard ordered him to run around a tree at Gold "until he wore a trench in the ground". He did so for weeks on end until he was physically spent. He escaped … [Read more...]
Golden Era Brings Back the Running Program….
I have written a few pieces here about the Running Program -- now titled "Cause Resurgence Rundown" in order to sell it to people as an "OT miracle rundown." It literally consists of running around in a circle to the point of exhaustion and then running some more. That is ALL it is. The Running Program What IS "Cause Resurgence?" Running in Circles Again The "Running Program" began as a means to "crack" David Mayo. Hubbard sent down orders that Mayo (who was in trouble based on reports Miscavige had sent about him) was to "run around a tree until he dropped, get up and run … [Read more...]
Running in Circles Again
This just struck me as the ultimate in ridiculous, enforced "success stories." It is a perfect example of the "technology" proclaiming something and then the person who pays for it comes out the other side certain they have achieved what they were told they were going to achieve beforehand. Though there is no way this is real, it is shrouded in "subjective reality." This is confirmation bias exemplified. Confirmation bias occurs from the direct influence of desire on beliefs. When people would like a certain idea or concept to be true, they end up believing it to be true. They are … [Read more...]
Running in Circles
Is running in circles around a pole so much better and more therapeutic than running in a straight line? Or around a 400 meter track? The "Running Program" is supposedly based on some Hubbard "Whole Track Research" -- though it was first used as a punishment on David Mayo... It was subsequently used by Miscavige as a punishment on many people at the international base. So much so that after stories about it appeared in the media, the infamous "running track" at Golden Era was bulldozed out of existence. This piece of "amazing tech" is no longer available to the people at the top of the … [Read more...]
Running Program Re-Redo
3 times through in less than 2 years. This one is a real money-spinner. You can keep sending people back to do it over and over. You don't need anything to deliver it -- just someone who tells them to keep running and a "C/S" who just tells them to "keep running." It's a bottomless goldmine. It's like an LA Fitness Club. I do not doubt that people enjoy running. Or that it results in good feelings. There are millions of people who do it every day. Convincing people that running around in a circle is an "Whole Track OT objective process" that is worth paying thousands of dollars for (a … [Read more...]
Cause Over Matter, Energy, Space, Time, Force, Form, Location and Life
Nothing over the top here. And yet people will tell you that L. Ron Hubbard DIDN'T make absolute claims about OT and scientology doesnt make promises to achieve unrealistic things and that scientology doesn't falsely represent itself... Of course, there is always wiggle room - this statement means some "future" OT level is where it's going to be achieved -- even though those future OT levels don't exist. It was all supposed to be "OT VIII" and the release was delayed from 1970 because it was so powerful... But, nevertheless, this IS the pitch the church uses. It's why it is the quote … [Read more...]
What IS “Cause Resurgence”?
Now, remember, out in the real world, we KNOW what this "rundown" consists of. But in the scientology bubble, it is "confidential" and is not mentioned unless you have paid your entrance fee and are ushered into the special floor of the SP building, where you are then told that this "OT Rundown" consists of.... Running in circles. Literally. For a few weeks. There is nothing else. You are told to run around a fixed object. And to keep running. Now read this latest Mintzmeat hype and realize they are charging people $5,000 to do this (not including what they charge … [Read more...]
