Every year, Miscavige bestows IAS Freedom Medals on individuals who have "eradicated psychiatry" or "brought peace" to "entire nations" through their "tireless efforts" to implement LRH tech and distribute the Way to Happiness as a "calming influence" on society. But one only has to look at the real world to see how contrived these "accomplishments" are. In 2005 (coincidentally) he lauded dedicated IAS members for their work in Venezuela and Ukraine. If you glance at the news, you will see both of these nations undergoing massive internal upheaval and civil unrest. Yet, if you go back and l … [Read more...]
“If The Pope Were Coming To LA To Open 3 New Churches….”
The panic is becoming palpable in PAC. The latest timing is now apparently set for the grand re-re-opening of AOLA and ASHO for 2pm Saturday (though it could change by tomorrow). Various people have forwarded the emails they are being bombarded with. There are reportedly no bulk emails. Each one is personalized. And with admonitions NOT to forward them or send anything out in bulk. But meanwhile, they are begging people to show up as they are expected to have 10,000 in attendance for this really lame event -- and that is double what they get to the Shrine with 6 weeks of call-in! (Another … [Read more...]
More Stats From The Bubble
This is another unintentionally revealing look at the true state of affairs with GAG II. It makes a graveyard seem like a bustling hive of activity. First -- 90 Student Hat Completions (supposedly a GUARANTEED two week course) means that this is the size of the existing active AOSHUK field. Everyone had to redo this course (you can bet that the 90 did not include any NEW comps as they admit they didnt do 90 in the 7 previous years). Funny how this is what they hype -- at an AOSH they are proud of their Student Hat Completions and that this is 30X. They have 30Xed something that didnt even n … [Read more...]
More Disparagement :)
Because I feel like piling on today. Steve Hall took the new RCS Non-Disparagement Covenant and revised it to substitute North Korea for the CoS, to show how just insane this document and the CoS mentality has become. It is both amusing and disturbing. The church of Scientology is becoming a parody (Parodi?) worthy of the further attention of Trey Parker and Matt Stone. Miscavige and His Merry Band of Minions could become the perfect sequel to Team America: World Police or The Book Of Mormon. DEMOCRATIC PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF KOREA, DISTRICT OF _____________ State Covena … [Read more...]
Fear Of Discovery
Tony Ortega had a fascinating document on his blog amongst the weekly "Sunday Funnies." It is indicative of how paranoid things have become inside the bunker. And how much effect the work of those who have spoken out about abuses within the church has been. And how mortally wounded Dear Leader really is and how desperate to end the "torture" of exposure he is. They are actually trying to get new people to sign a bizarre document, something so astonishing it bears as much exposure as possible. This says everything about the state of the RCS. The language of the document is remarkable for a … [Read more...]
Chris Shelton Speaks
Chris Shelton, who has posted here as Galactic Patrol for some time, sent me this article for publication. It provides an interesting perspective on being a staff member and being in the SO. It may not be everyone's view, but it certainly aligns with much of what I experienced. And I think it is a helpful addition to multiple viewpoints that are expressed here in an effort to make all data available to those who are interested. I spent my entire adult life as a professional Scientology staff member. I started taking classes when I was 15 and joined staff at the age of 17. I joined … [Read more...]
Afraid To Be Identified?
This one goes in the "Hall of Shame."Now, this is what I call "Pretense PR". How can you have an entire building and staff devoted to "PRing" "Opinion Leaders" in Washington DC and they are afraid of identifying the people they have contacted? Why even put out a promo piece with pictures of people if you are worried about anyone knowing who they are? And the best you have to offer is a "Counselor for Health and Welfare from a Western European embassy," "a staff member from a Congressman's office," and "the Ambassador from one of Africa's most stable nations"? One could be f … [Read more...]
Golden Age Of Math –10,000 On Solo NOTs
This is a very strange promo piece. They must be using "Golden Age of Math" to come up with the figures they are using. Places reported at 10X and 5X have no figures that even resemble these multipliers. And the targets are even weirder. They give them an arbitrary "starting figure" plucked out of the sky, as the column alongside gives the number currently auditing/completed. So, if your imaginary starting figure is "5" but you have 16 already on, you need 4 more to "4X" (to 20 total). Sheer idiocy. There are no doubt many false reports in here, I always love to hear from commenters in … [Read more...]
Flag OTC And IAS Take Credit For Narconon Nepal
Interesting how the stories change depending on circumstances. Of course, any Narconon that is in trouble (Georgia, Arrowhead, Nevada etc) goes to enormous lengths to assert that the church has NO involvement. But when it comes time to ask for money, it's just one big happy family. It is also a little strange that opening a Narconon last September is all that she Mrs. Feshbach (IAS cheerleader du jour) can cite as tangible results of their hard earned money? Why no report on the hurricane? Or the "massive" relief effort in Italy? Or ANYTHING other than a building opened 6 months ago that … [Read more...]
A Year Later Ideal Org Gets A Supervisor
Big win, the "Ideal Org" in Cambridge, Ontario that Dear Leader opened a year ago has just made an Objectives Course Supervisor! With the heavy push to have EVERYONE from OT VIII down re-do their Objectives, one would have imagined that they might have had a trained Objectives Course Supervisor. I guess they can now get underway... Now that's straight up and vertical. What is so remarkable is that the clubbed seals apparently find something in this to celebrate. Soon we will be seeing Facebook posts announcing the good news that "Las Vegas Org is now open on Wednesdays from 3-9 a … [Read more...]
