A commentary sent in by a Special Correspondent that I felt worthy of broader coverage. It might be more appropriately titled with the astute observation MONEY IS THE ONE THING NOT TAINTED BY ASSOCATION WITH AN SP. A few posts back you commented that Flag's systematic and systemic practice of purging "undesirable" staff and public deserved a post of its own. Indeed it does. Having been a "purgee" I am personally familiar with this corporate policy. Furthermore I have witnessed numerous instances of others being purged. Interestingly enough, the purge flows both ways, as many people have … [Read more...]
UK Ideal Fundraising — The Delusion is Mind Blowing UPDATED
I have seen a lot of unreal delusory statements coming from inside the bubble but I think this one takes the cake (so far....) This is the UK "Landlord", responsible for tens of millions of pounds of real estate. I don't know him, but he sounds like a teenager who thinks if he is "enthusiastic" everything will turn out ok "we are winning and things are looking good" "we will make this cleared UK a reality and are doing this". The Porsche raffle is an interesting touch... But the real mind-blower is this: "The sun is still shining and summer is still here so move up to your next st … [Read more...]
Scientology’s Norwegian Shrinkage
This article was sent in by Anette Iren Johansen, who is taking time out from her own blog to act as Norwegian Special Correspondent for Something Can Be Done About It. Thanks Anette! Where is the massive worldwide unprecedented straight up vertical expansion of Scientology? Apparently it has not yet reached Norway. No expansion in the richest country of the world? I'm not sure whether the Vikings are cult proof or if this is just the worst example of Scientology's failed Ideal Org strategy. There is only one Church of Scientology in Norway. It goes by the name Oslo Org. In 2004 the church m … [Read more...]
Voldemort Tent Update August 30
Well, you will be happy to hear, that like Jack Nicholson in The Shining, He's back. (Had to make a trip to Los Angeles to meet with lawyers to try and figure out how to wriggle out of the Monique Rathbun lawsuit). But in His absence there was lots of excitement in downtown Clearwater over His tent. Actually, over the illegal destruction of two live oak trees to make way for the tent. He no doubt issued the order to chop down the trees when He was not in town so he couldnt receive any embarrassing phone calls from the city. Interestingly, none of the reports, even Tony Ortega himself, r … [Read more...]
Miscavige’s Motto
Finally, some (accidental) truth in advertising. This IS what the orgs and "Humanitarians" have been led to believe "If you build it, they will come" -- so it's interesting to see it being stated overtly. But it is NOT the whole truth. The truer statement would be the actual Miscavige Motto -- "If you build it, they will believe me." THAT campaign has worked with the sheeple. They DO believe that the purchase and renovation of buildings is proof of massive international expansion. It even worked with some media for a while (you never see ANY statement from the church that doesnt include how … [Read more...]
Another Disconnection Tragedy
So many responses to yesterday's post about disconnection. Gayle Smith just posted a comment that I feel deserves not to be overlooked. I am making it it's own post. Disconnection What I can say about it? It feels like so little because mere words fail me to convey the significance of its damage. I’ve come close to the edge more than once because of it. I’ve been spun in by it. I’ve come close to giving everything up because of it. What if you disconnected from your own son and never got to say “I love you” again? What if you discover that the reason a loved one left the Church of Sciento … [Read more...]

Mike Eldredge Letter to David Miscavige & Co.
I have known Mike Eldredge since December 1975 when he and his wife Penny were the first two new recruits to arrive at Flag in Clearwater. At the time the location was still confidential and they had not been told where they were going until they were given tickets at the airport. They were excited to be at Flag, but a little disappointed as they had only come from Miami! Mike went on to become a cramming officer, auditor and C/S who worked on many projects directly for LRH. I did a few Missions with him at various times. This write up only touches upon his history and experience. Perhaps he … [Read more...]
Big Brother Is Watching
The "friendliest place in the world" is losing its lustre. In fact, it is becoming downright creepy. This is from the latest "OT" Committee Meeting Minutes -- my highlighting in red: "Emmett Osborn, OTC Dir IAS Field Dissemination, come up to brief us about the winners of the recent IAS Game with the prize of a special pin for getting 2 status upgrades, 2 Lifetime Memberships or a donation on $10,000. He presented gifts of special lapel pins, engraved pens and one-of-a-kind shoulder bags to the winners, Kaye Champagne and Tom Cummins. Emmett re-briefed us on the new IAS Game t … [Read more...]
Begging for an “Ideal” PAC
The latest insanity comes courtesy of the Uniform IC PAC -- Val Page (daughter of Homer Schomer who was at ASI, queried certain financial practices, was abused, kicked out and declared and his daughter has not spoken to him in 30 years!). But that is not the point here. In case any further proof was needed, the vulture culture has permeated every corner of the RCS. All the way down to the "Uniform IC" -- a post that has NO CONTACT WHATSOEVER with the public -- sending out begging emails to get money for a "PAC Events Center" to "usher public up the Bridge:" Dear … [Read more...]
