In lieu of Thursday Funnies, we have a few things that have flopped over the transom that make for entertaining reading in these strange times. If you were wondering what the Sea Org "management" people are doing (in the Continental Liaison Offices and at the Flag Bureau) this gives a clue. The "managers" in EUS are "delivering" extension courses. With the orgs having little or no income, these management units are really struggling to come up with a few dollars for food. Their income, meager as it is, comes from the orgs. When the orgs make 0, the SO Units make 0. The difference is, in … [Read more...]
Heber Jentzsch
This is another of the endless lies scientology spins to the world: Subject: Re: Your Contact Form Date: Wed, 30 Mar 2016 19:03:15 -0700 (PDT) From: Brian at Scientology Info Center To: xxxxxxxxxx@gmail.com Dear Xxx, A while ago you wrote in asking who was the President of Scientology. That is Mr. Rev. Heber Jentzsch. What made you interested? Best regards, Brian Hinojosa Heber Jentzsch has had NO position in scientology since around 2004 when he was first put into the Hole. He has not been sighted in public except to attend his son's funeral after … [Read more...]
March 13 Hype-O-Rama
Just getting around to this -- things have been pretty hectic in the last few weeks and this one took a bit more work. A Special Correspondent attended the March 13th event in LA and reported some entertaining first-hand observations which serve as an introduction to some key points from the International Scientology News March 13 "Birthday Game" edition. First, the on-the-ground report from the Dolby Theater in LA. A grey, barely marked, Church of Scientology mini-bus pulled up to the curb and discharged 4 or 5 people into the crowd that makes Hollywood & Highland a nightly spe … [Read more...]
The Missions of Scientology — Where Are They? Sunday Redux
This seems a very appropriate post to reprint in light of the recent article Scientology Shriveling. Media Take Note: They Lie To You. This was originally published on 27 March 2013. I would assume that if anyone wants to take the time, they will find that some of the missions the church is given credit for in this article from 2013 no longer exist today (though I suspect the scientology.org website is about as fast to remove closed missions from their list as they are to remove declared OT VII's from the list of "10,000 on Solo Nots Sometime Never." Again, it … [Read more...]

Surrounded by Suppression Another must miss event. Daphna really has a bee in her bonnet about all the "suppression" that is around. Maybe she has a computer and googled scientology? Those SPs are everywhere, just waiting to pounce! Again, why is an Advanced Org resorting to promoting a seminar delivered by an FSM? Where is Julian Shwartz? Isn't he the expert on handling suppression at AOLA? Arise Sir Knight Yes, that is John Danilovich, Captain AOSHUK waving a sword. Apparently the latest status in the UK is to kneel before John who touches the sword to your shoulders and … [Read more...]
Money, Power, Servitude
This new book is a must read for anyone interested in scientology and what goes on inside the church. Peter Bonyai recounts his experiences from the day he first walked into a mission in Pecs, Hungary through his life in the Sea Org and ultimately to his departure 10 years later. I helped Peter by editing the english translation (he wrote it in his native tongue and translated it himself). I found the book fascinating and compelling. Peter has a wonderful sense of humor and an amazing ability to analyze both the insanity of what he experienced and his internal responses and thoughts, … [Read more...]
Solve It With Scientology
A lesson from the rewritten history of the Church of Scientology. Truly a blast from the past and a sort of time capsule into how things were 25 years ago before the Vulture Culture became the order of the day. People talk about the "good old days." Others sometimes comment that there were no "good old days" because everything was always bad because everything sprang from the evil mind of L. Ron Hubbard. Well, this makes for interesting reading, as it is evidence that at least one thing about the church really HAS changed dramatically, and it is not because of what LRH wrote. Back in the 7 … [Read more...]
Captain Miscavige Predicts The Future
Someone recently sent me an audio recording of the New Year's event which I am making my way through. Some of it is a bit hard to hear, but there is enough in there to make for some interesting posts which will be forthcoming when I have the time to put them together. But in the meantime, I came across an issue of the "High Winds" magazine celebrating the first 25 years of the Sea Org in 1992. You can see Captain Miscavige here addressing the audience at the International Base (this is before the advent of the Hole): But what is most interesting is to take stock of some of His hype from … [Read more...]
An Open Letter to David Miscavige
Penned by my good friend Dan Koon, one of the nicest people I know. Dan also possesses a wry and dry sense of humor. He said this is the 10 year anniversary of EPing the Highway 79 Rundown, "one of the best rundowns I ever did. It has given me lasting gains." Hi Dave, It has been 10 years to the day that I pedaled through the mechanical gate at the Kirby Apartments, biked through Hemet and routed myself out of the Sea Organization. Today I am reminded of a line in HCOB 31 Dec 59R, rev. 9 Feb 89, BLOW-OFFS (which, incidentally, I found more easily on the Internet than I could have found i … [Read more...]
Miscavige, the Latam Strategy and Opinion Leaders
SadStateofAffairs made a comment about the Jobur Jackboots that was a blast from the past when he mentioned the "Latam Strategy." The comment was right on. The Jobur Command Team is exactly following the Latam Strategy. For most of you, this is meaningless, so I will provide a little background that is necessarily abbreviated. The topic is instructive to the current scene. In the early 80's there was considerable concern by LRH (who was in seclusion) that he and management had lost control of Scientology. There is a LOT of LRH traffic about the "Mission Holder Mutiny" and the Guardian's … [Read more...]
