There are 3 "ideal" orgs in Silicon Valley and a Mission. The last one to open was the "Silicon Valley" ideal, nestled right alongside the freeway and virtually inaccessible. But, it was a big enough building. AND it was close to Google HQ (on the other side of the freeway). So the grand announcements rang out that this ideal org was poised to rock the entire planet -- because of course they would be getting the brightest and wealthiest Google employees onto and up the Bridge and with that, they would be able to influence the world. How ironic that it is Google searches that are doing more … [Read more...]
Thursday Funnies on Saturday
What Does It Take? A LOT more than 20 people posing for a photo... It's why you are still not done 20 years into this program. Listen to Mr. Alistair Bennet And he knows? Because he has a Sea Org belt on? A Fundamental M/U Black Friday is supposed to be where you offer big discounts... Inspiration? More like desperation to get anyone to attend... The Chan Man Cometh All the way to Melbourne? Wonder who is paying for this? Thanksgiving Potluck? I thought it was supposed to be a turkey … [Read more...]

How very appropriate Enter the world of Alice in Wonderland. Yes, it's OPEN! Not funny, sad I have not had the opportunity to read the decision. The activities of scientology are NOT beneficial to the public at large. They are only photo ops. AOSH Africa Busting open the bottom of the Bridge I wonder if Joburg or Joburg North or Pretoria (all 3 of them "ideal" orgs) have ANY customers? They don't have certs any more? Just cheesy signs they hold up... In true Chicago style... Half a dozen, tired old people sitting … [Read more...]

The Chan Man He is going to singlehandedly make Canada ideal, like he has the US (except for those who are still trying...) If this guy is SO powerful, how come all orgs aren't done yet? The Magic of Chicago? Bringing out the best in your child... Plus Freewinds "goodwill" tour and the Top Gun Chicago Air and Water show. Every one of these is a disguised recruitment event. Trying to get anyone to show up they can pressure into joining staff. Why not start with Marcy Sargeant? Wick Allcock is still in Melbourne? He HAS been "put out to … [Read more...]

Until I was left with only me.... You only think you got rid of all those pesky BTs and Clusters. Until you get to OT 6, then you will discover you are not ONLY you, but a whole lot more BT's and Cluster. Tens of thousands of them. How could you possibly be so wrong? Not a lot of interest.... It seems people are NOT curious. Limited Seating They have 2 folding chairs set up. One for Lance. The other is available. It IS limited seating.... The history of freedom... Delivered by those who promise it (for a hefty price) and … [Read more...]
New Ideal Orgs
Tony Ortega covered the recent openings of Salt Lake and "Silicon Valley" ideal orgs with some interesting on-the-ground reports from observers. I have, as is my wont, a few observations of my own. Salt Lake City: This is the official photo on the scientology.org website. If you had the time or inclination, you could actually count the heads present. My guess would be 350. (Update, a reader counted every head in this photo, the number is 242). But if you read their press release, the gathering consisted of "more than a thousand" in attendance. It's … [Read more...]
Ribbon Yanking Extravaganza
It's a big weekend of ribbon yanking for the Chairman of the Bored. These HAVE to be done this weekend or they will not make it into the March 13th event -- and he doesn't have anything else to hype at that event other than to bring the Sherminator on stage to ramble on with some more fascinating tall tales about the life of LRH, and handing out some awards to pre-ordained winners of the "Birthday Game" (you will see, the ONLY winners allowed now are "ideal"). So, it is absolutely imperative these ribbon yankings were made to happen. After YEARS of endless PR pieces about … [Read more...]
The Good, The Bad, The Really Ugly
What an odd catchphrase, substituting "Ideal" for "Ugly".... They must think this is something brilliant as they have a whole campaign based on this slogan.... But the third one here is jaw-dropping. Taking money from a 10 year old? And promoting it? Tells you how warped one's view becomes inside the bubble. That left me almost wordless. That SHOULD be titled, The Good, The Bad, The Really Ugly. Oh, how sad. … [Read more...]
