We Are Hiring
Anyone for anything. If you are willing to sign a billion year contract we will take you as long as you are breathing.
Read this…
The first para is Shermanesque. You finish reading it and feel confused. It does not end.
The second para is the big reveal that there are universities in Boston and the org there will of course influence Presidents.
I wonder where these people live? Planet Cornball?
More brilliant logic in play…
Actually, imagine how much charge keeps building up.
What does this have to do with Media or Ethics?
More weird stuff. Can you imagine anyone reading this and going “Yeah, makes total sense…”
Wrong source…
You actually think the reason veterans are committing suicide is psychiatry? Not the fact they were in combat? Why is this the fault of psychiatry and not the fault of scientology for failing to create a world without war?
Ron’s friends??
Really? What qualifies him for that status? Willing to say anything as a pitch-man?
Another one of his friends?
He doesn’t even know the guy?

Pretty soon they will have 3 ideal orgs instead of 2. Now the 2 have done NOTHING at all. Adding a third will mean nothing added to nothing. Why bother?
The only point of interest here is whether Chairman of the Bored is going to be taking a XMas vacay in S. Africa and this is the reason the “New Year’s” event was held on 16 December.
Lend a deaf ear to the entheta merchants…
Scientology operating policy #1. Do not listen to or believe ANY criticism of scientology.
A Special Message from LRH
Yeah, from 1982. They have been using the same thing every year since. It’s a little tired now….
Newsflash…
Without ANY “news”? Been saying the same thing for 3 years now.
Meantime, how come these other “ideal orgs” are accomplishing NOTHING?
Summit?
Yeah, bring your check book and credit cards….
Make the Impossible Possible
Will believe that when you can do something about scientology’s PR.
Hey, how about one of you 3 becoming the spokesman for scientology and actually talking to the media?
How about one of you agree to be on The Aftermath?
Wait a minute…
Last we saw, these were the heroes of HAPI and the Scots were celebrating them?
HAPI is NOT done and they have switched horses to Orlando?
Did you ever hear the LRH datum about SP’s cannot complete a cycle of action?
Just Gross
These kid things make my skin crawl.
Not very OT…
Really not very OT
Not cause over time OR spelling…
Hey Sharon
If all this is true, why the hell aren’t YOU in the Sea Org?
Really?
This is supposed to entice people to hand over money?
Only 12 days left to secure your eternity…
Shit, I guess the lights go out and we are all left to shiver in the cold blackness of nothingness on 1 January. No more eternity available. Apparently it was a limited time only offer.
Kronomex says
“This is supposed to entice people to hand over money?”
I looked at the photo of the idiot with the earlobes and thought about what they’re going to look like in twenty years because the ear plugs are going to have to get bigger and bigger as the skin stretches. His earlobes will be hanging down around his shoulder blades by then…gads…another though just struck me. The $camologists should work him up to giant plugs and by the time he hits fifty he could go to events and hire his earlobes out as swings.
The rest of the fliers are the same boring and tiresome garbage they put out every week for the rusted ons.

Dear Mike: I am glad to see you are back. Thanks for the wonderful work you are doing regarding Scientology. May you have a peaceful and wonderful Christmas. Keep up the great work.
BKmole says
Mike, “everyone knows” you are doing a “life continuum” for Vaughn Young.
The rest of the world should revere that HubSpeak is used and I “Freedom, Media and Ethics” clearly understands that spreading the truth as he understands it will conquer all.
The absolute hubris of these cult members is amazing.
Mother Hubbard says
South Africa will soon have 3 empty ideal orgs within a 30 minute drive of each other – (traffic permitting and I stress that is not traffic trying to get to the ideal orgs!)
If there was a huge shiny, plastic trophy for ideal org ‘density’ I think South Africa and the last few dense Scientologists left there should win it.

Scientologists giving lessons on PR? Seriously, what planet to these freaks live on? (Oh yeah, Teegeack.)
Old Surfer Dude says
They take PR seriously on Teegeeack.
whatareyourcrimes says
Gift a lifetime membership in IAS. Gee thanks dad, that is what I always wanted.
Also, a pin and a scarf … act now while supplies last.
Did they actually write that? While supplies last?
Did LRH swab his body sweat with these rare scarfs, or maybe pick his toenails with these pins?
Scientology just has an incredible gift in setting themselves up for ridicule.
Aquamarine says
Mike, please!
One must not only be “breathing” to qualify for SO although certainly an applicant must be able to breathe.
That said, the qualifications for a billion year contract applicant are far stricter!
No one could even be considered unless the various colonies of cells constituting their bodies conflated into some semblance of human form.
AND they must be ambulatory.
Fair is fair, Mike.
Old Surfer Dude says
Aquamarine, those people are sissies! I can stand on my head for a billion years. They just don’t want to work.
Aquamarine says
Well, fine. The Sea Org needs Can-Do people like you. I’ll surf right on out with the contract for your signature. I know you won’t want to wait, it being Wednesday nite and all. Please ensure that I don’t end up in the soup. And very well done, OSD. You won’t regret this. Believe me.
Old Surfer Dude says
“You won’t regret this. Believe me.” LOL!

So they donated in Boston to bring truth and sanity to Boston? I think they packed a lot of empty luggage there ….Yikes…. The messengers are the crazy ones!!

Young messengers are just a shade below Attila the Hun.

22 US Vets Committing suicide everyday is the exclamation. Contact the all knowing, the all seeing Scientology for the mysterious reason as to why. We all know that psychiatry will be blamed for these tragedies but any mention of PTSD will not permeate the air because it doesn’t exist. I am willing to bet there are Sci victims in the hole at Hemit who have developed a nice case of post traumatic stress. Willful ignorance, paranoia, delusions of grandeur, neurosis all run riot within the Sci universe. I shudder to think of a Vet with PTSD seeking help from this band of fools. The symptoms would only be driven deeper into a survivors mind thereby igniting additional issues. What a disgusting disservice to the men and women who step up to the plate for their country and humanity in general. Meanwhile people working on Scientology’s latest, ‘we need more chump change’ are sniveling and drooling on their keyboards while hatching new avenues in order to exploit another group of people. The lump of iron ore Hubbard thought was his heart was bequeathed to McSavage the day he usurped the throne.
Mary Kahn says
The longer I’m OUT, the more my reaction to this pap is that these guys truly live in an alternate universe. I think once one goes down the rabbit hole that is the church of scientology, the further one gets away from not understanding planet Earth. Planet Earth? They don’t understand their own little communities or the guy standing next to them. Good luck with that “Clearing the Planet” thingy.
jim says
Mary,
Could it be, since Hubbard had difficulty early on in following through his projects in a way so as to end up with a profitable product, that he was driven to take the ‘high road’ by simply postulating that the valuable product would magically happen. Simply bypass the mechanics and management of the physical universe. He tried in the 60’s with the Briefing Course to get some others to work with intention, control, and understanding to run their several universes. Some really capable individuals came out of that and generally moved on to live their lives outside the restrictive bubble. Lots got declared by the Orgs for not toeing the lines the Orgs dictated.
30 years after he’s dead and there ain’t any around who can evoke/invoke as Hubbard could (sometimes). The ones now in the bubble are going through the rituals and invocations without having a clue what they are trying to do. The game maker has moved on and no new game has been created inside the bubble.
Sorta sad really.
Cindy says
good point Jim. And per LRH when the game maker is gone and no one steps up to be the Goal Maker / Game Maker, the game becomes getting you (whoever “you” is who appears to be running it but really is not running it.) And I think at that point they turn on themselves and fight amongst themselves due to not having a common enemy “outside” themselves. I think this is one of many reasons Ron set up psychs to be “The Enemy” with a capital “E”.
Aquamarine says
Mary,
Please you need to get with the program. They don’t NEED to understand this planet or any society. They’re making their OWN.
(That’s a paraphrase a something LRH said, somewhere.)
PS: Note that I said, “You need…” – my all time favorite cult phrase – NOT.
Valerie says
“Act now while supplies last”.
Quick quick we are going to run out of IAS lifetime memberships. Bwa ha ha ha ha ha ha. *gasp* ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.
Someone is going to believe that?
Old Surfer Dude says
That was good that you took a breath, Valerie. You don’t want to get tired.
Cindy says
“Just make sure you bring a gift for us to give to your kid” I laughed at that. So bring a gift so that Santa can give your kid something. Bring food for the pot luck so that the org can feed you. The orgs are not surviving and have thus dropped to “must be contributed to” on the Havingness Scale.
WhatWhenAllWho says
You are in exemplary form today, Mike!
While I really enjoy your humor, you really get me with some of the viewpoints you seem to just toss out.
The line “Why is this the fault of psychiatry and not the fault of scientology for failing to create a world without war?” is so true, pure and simple. It really struck me as something that is so obvious, only someone so ensconced within the bubble could not see that.
However, what moved me to comment was, once again, Drew Johnston. It really sickens me to see him continue to support this bastardization of a church. Drew Johnston is most certainly one who knows what today’s scientology has become and has fully agreed to play along; not only for himself, but also expending effort to get others to continue or even ensnare new people. He is the epitome of cognitive dissonance = Hey Drew – no SHSBC? No Class VIII Course? I don’t even have the words to describe my distain for you.
Mike, I wish you and yours the most wonderful, magical Holidays and also that 2018 will exceed your expectations and imagination of amazing things that come to you.
Also, thank you so much for taking such good care of my lovely friend, Mary, and for being there for her, always.
Merry Christmas!
WhatWhenAllWho
Cindy says
Ditto what you said about Drew Johnston. It sickens me to see him dancing to DM’s tune. He is a Class VIII and OT VIII and trained CS. With all that training surely he must see the alterations in the tech? I think he knows, but chooses not to do anything about it chooses to keep on scamming (oops I mean regging) people out of their money. He has a daughter in the SO, so maybe he stays in so she doesn’t disconnect. Also he makes a lot of money FSMing everyone onto their next service. Maybe he thinks he couldn’t get another job at his age if he left? I don’t know what his considerations are. But is just makes me sick to see him being Scns shill. He is a good person, although misguided.

10 million children are taking psychiatric drugs that can drive them to violence or suicide, 15,000 children have died from these drugs, 22 veterens are committing suicide every day in the US. I wonder where they get their statistics? Probably from the same place as the gun lobby.
Old Surfer Dude says
Lying comes so easily in the cult.

Howz about gettin a few more of yer millions of members to sign the stinkin petition to put a stop to Leah and Mike? Geesch, if ya can’t git that done what can ya do?
Hey …. and how did yer stats look taday Mr. stinkbomb?
Old Surfer Dude says
Leah stomped all over the dwarf. No contest. Done deal.

It appears somebody is reading the internet to find these stats. From Wikipedia…. “In 2013, the United States Department of Veterans Affairs released a study that covered suicides from 1999 to 2010, which showed that roughly 22 veterans were dying by suicide per day, or one every 65 minutes. Some sources suggest that this rate may be undercounting suicides.”
Apparently the stats for kids on drugs comes straight from the CCHR (good ole Loren Troescher’s legacy).

Let’s see…..two high ranking executive spokespeople have not only left Scientology, but both worked/are working to expose the abuses within.
Hmmmm……what is the connection? What is the thing that these men have in common?
What’s next? To include Tommy Davis in the picture and claim that “one out of three ain’t
bad!”? (i.e. only one of the three last spokespeople have not spoken out).
A little off topic……the new trend over at Morty’s blog (in the comments, 75% of which are left by Oracle) is to claim that there are no longer any crimes or abuses in Scientology now that Mike is gone as the head of OSA.
So….much like the Guardians Office took the fall for LRH, they are attempting to create a new fall guy, ‘Mike Rinder’s OSA’ as Miscavige’s fall guy.
Newcomer says
Well that should free things up a bit so Marty and Oracle can resign their billion year contract. Who knows, Marty may even get Monique to join and they can put their kid in the Cadet Org ……………………………….” now that there are no longer any crimes or abuses in Scientology.”
Yo Marty,

Yeah, Alanzo has: “Completely Unrelated Factual Reminder: Mike Rinder left Scientology in 2007. Keep that date firmly in your mind.” line on his blog.

Just Hummin' Along says
“Mike left in 2007 keep that date firmly in your mind” – thank you Alanzo I would have missed the significance of that date if you hadn’t pointed it out to me.
CONGRATULATIONS ON 10 YEARS OF FREEDOM MIKE!!!!
jenyfurrr says
Chee,
I noticed that AND how they say Mike never admits to having done anything wrong (WHAT? For a group that seems to obsess over his every word, they somehow missed the show(s) where he apologized took responsibility for getting his kinds into CO$ and how he’s repeatedly talked about being a “typical Sea Org parent.”)
Mike using “them” to describe the church & its abuses is another big topic (insinuating he should be saying “us”) which is senseless, since he hasn’t been out for years now! Anything they can do to deflect & mislead I guess.
IMHO I feel the show’s message is that much more impactful BECAUSE Mike describes policy so well, then describes how that translates into action based on his past experiences.
Definitely many attempts to create strife & division. Nope, sorry guys, Aftermath has created such awareness at-large and will continue (hopefully with another season!) to do so.
Aquamarine says
I give Marty’s blog the once over from time to time.
I used to enjoy Oracle’s comments there, here and elsewhere but he/she is different now.
Long rants heavy on generalities, light on facts and replete with questions both objective and rhetorical.
These questions get answered in Oracle’s own posts, and then these answers get commented on / further expanded in her next posts.
At some point, a new origination is introduced which is then self-acknowledged and self-commented upon and further expanded by himself/herself, and so on.
Oracle’s vociferous defenses of Marty and vehement attacks on Tony Ortega don’t bother me so much as his/her lack of objectivity in doing so. Call it “Missing Applicable Data”, or whatever you like, apparently, Oracle is no longer a big facts person, at least, as regards Tony O and Marty Rathbun.
Aquamarine says
PS: By the use of “him/her” or “he/she” when pronouns were needed in my above comment I have been unnecessarily coy. That Oracle is a woman is already widely known. I know it too, so silly and dishonest of me to pretend ignorance with regard to Oracle’s gender identity.
I’m making this disclosure to all of you because my own self honesty and personal ethics are extremely important to me. By these firm policies do I live my life.
Also because, after editing time ran out I glanced up and saw that I had written simply “her” instead of “him/her” in one of the sentences, and blown the whole thing anyway.
CGarrison says
Oracle sounds like she might need a little objectivity….like my husband who talks to himself, talks to the dogs, asks himself questions and then answers himself. However, his is just innocuous self talk, I think….. Isn’t it ???
Aquamarine says
I talked to all my dogs, CG. They liked it and would respond, not like Lassie in the movies with a “Woof” but by ear lifts and looking at me in an interested kind of way. I had a cat once that would answer me when I said something to him. He would say Meow if I said something to him, always. He had various types of meows, including a bored Meow. If something I said bored him he didn’t necessarily glance my way but threw out a polite, bored meow while continuing to do whatever he was doing, including relaxing on my favorite sofa pillow, which was also his favorite sofa pillow.
Tonite I’m in my office asking myself questions and answering while wrapping all personal and business holiday gifts and putting together 18 goodie gift bags, all per longstanding firm policy of doing all
Xmas stuff at the very last minute, all at once, and without a list.
“Do I have So and So’s_____? Yeah, here it is. Good! Okay, wrap So and So’s____Making progress….”
Maybe I should reach out to Oracle.
Well, look, in my own defense, at least its only talk. I don’t write that way.
Look, your husband is as normal as I am, CG…which, actually…ahem…duty calls. Ciao.
CGarrison says
AquaM- I am smiling here because I talk to my dogs all the time as well and will never stop. How can one not ? 100% agreement regarding the sensitivity and ‘knowingness’ of animals. IMO a persons treatment of animals says quite a bit about their inner landscape. With that in mind – Feliz Navidad fellow animal lover
Aquamarine says
And a Merry Christmas to you too, CG. 🙂

Brian Thomas Lambert says
Mental unstableness is what I experience from some posters at Marty’s now. I say that with no malice or negativity.
Marty’s site is now a demonstration of what happens to the mind and soul being a Scientology literalist:
Justified nastiness against critics of Ron
Actually hatred is what I really feel from almost all of them. Sympathy no where to be found.
They are good students of Ron. Hatred is a higher emotional tone than sympathy.
It seems to me that one of the hypnotic trances that people wake from when they discover Ron was looney is the resurrected virtue of sympathy.
Sympathy is the very essence of Aftermath.
Marty and his Scientology groupies hate Aftermath. They actually feel a “moral” superiority demonstrating their hatred for Aftermath’s healing and life giving sympathy.
Is it because hate is higher than sympathy on Ron’s tone scale?
And they actually see a moral high ground hating?
For Marty to see the virtue in Oracle’s screeds and allowing her unfettered access to his highly vetted blog, has dead agented him.
Over the years I argued against people who branded Marty as having mental problems. I thought they were being negative and judgemental.
I hereby fully acknowledge I was wrong.
And that makes me sad because I liked Marty. What a pity.
Aquamarine says
I don’t think Marty has mental problems. I think he made a Faustian bargain with Miscavige, for whatever reason(s), in full knowledge and awareness of what he was doing and of what would be the ramifications, the fall out, from that bargain. I think he made this decision with full awareness and prepped for all the blowback he was going to get. And – this is a stretch, but I’d bet money on it – I think that Oracle knows exactly what those reasons of his were which in turn is why she is defending him at every turn and attacking his attackers right and left. My calculated guess is that she knows all there is to know and feels passionately that Marty Rathbun needs and deserves her defense and total support.I don’t think its a Scientology thing for her, per se. Thats my hunch, for whatever its worth. I could be totally wrong.
Mike Rinder says
Well, I doubt she knows anything…
Aquamarine says
Fine with me. I could be over thinking this. Maybe the simplicity of it is she’s just nuts.
Mike Rinder says
Way closer to the truth methinks…
Newcomer says
” Oracle knows exactly what those reasons of his were which in turn is why she is defending him at every turn ….”
My vote is He/She/It is clueless. It goes with the territory they occupy!
Aquamarine says
Newc and Mike,
I’m listening to you.
While its difficult for me to understand how she can be so positive and passionate in her defense of him and without being in his confidence, at the same time, well, it takes all kinds, as the saying goes.
Back in the day on Marty’s and for a while on this blog I did observe how, every so often she could suddenly go into attack mode/ It always surprised me, as she could get very intense very quickly. But back then she would back up these occasional attacks with facts. But now…not so much.
So I’m listening.
Besides, in one of her posts a year ago she called Donald Trump “brutally handsome”. Meaning, in present time.
I’m not being political, I swear, and yes, I know: “in the eye of the beholder” and all that.
Still, if she looks at him in present time and sees not only “handsome” but”BRUTALLY” handsome, then I would have to say she’s someone whose elevator doesn’t reach the top floor.
Aquamarine says
I’m actually giving forth with this silly stuff because I’m dubbing in. I don’t know. don’t understand it, or her, frankly.

Just thinking about the excess tax burden of every tax payer, just because the IRS granted exemption to that sickening malevolent organization scientology, well, it makes my blood boil… and every tax payer in the entire United States should scream for revocation.
I Yawnalot says
Yes indeed. It’s tough to try to come to terms with the fact your average hard working citizen, raising a family and doing the right thing by the country is subsidising with his taxes such an insidious organisation. For if the truth be made known, Mr average Joe would be horrified if he realised his children were susceptible to suddenly disconnecting from their own family if they got swept up in the lies and group mind fuck that is the Scientology cult. Yes, anger is the appropriate response.
whatareyourcrimes says
I think anger is indeed the public view toward scientology. Enough is enough.

So now Mountain View org is back to being called Silicon Valley org. Why not?
For those of you not familiar with the San Francisco Bay Area, Mountain View ( a city of 70,000) is only 11 miles from San Jose (where the Stevens Creek org is, a city of over a million people ). Los Gatos is right near San Jose and is a city of 30,000. ?????? So … two unnecessary orgs bracketing Stevens Creek org. Maybe the idea is that people who live north of MV for 25 miles would rather go there than drive north into The City (aka SF). All three public?
And yet with all these unnecessary orgs, no org in Houston, the third biggest city in the USA.
Genius planning I tell you ! GENIUS!
And … How come no org in Brooklyn? Did you know that Brooklyn has over a million MORE people than Manhattan where the NY org is? It ‘s true. And Queens which borders Brooklyn to the north has over two million people itself. And yet there are orgs in MV and Los Gatos????
I find this plan to “clear” the planet quite amusing.
dwarmed says
Hey, what did Brooklyn ever do to you? 😉
Aquamarine says
Agreed on all points but Brooklyn wouldl be a tough sell, JP. From what I know Brooklynites consider that themselves as inhabiting a separate planet and want to keep it that way. it took a great deal of convincing for them to accept the Bridge they already have.
Joe Pendleton says
Aqua … the truth is … it’s now a tough sell everywhere … but yeah, Brooklyn might be even tougher than most …
Old Surfer Dude says
Props to all Brooklynites! You guys rock!
CGarrison says
My mother, born and raised in Brooklyn, was 80 years old when she told a Hell’s Angels biker to get off the hood of her car. She said, I won’t sit on your bike if you don’t sit on my car. Guess he found the offer fair because he calmly agreed and scurried off ( I really did want to see her try and sit on his bike. ) What a trip that Brooklynite was.
Old Surfer Dude says
Your Mom rocks! I like her style! Tell her the gang at Mike Rinder’s blog thinks she’s great. Give her a hug from all of us.
Aquamarine says
LOL, CG. I pity that biker. Hell’s Angels is no match for any pissed off resident of THAT borough of Greater New Yawk. ” Fuggetabouit” Btw, Leah Remini is from Brooklyn – need more be said?
Gus Cox says
They do seem obsessed with the bay area. My guess is some idiot (cough, cough, COB, cough) did an “eval” and decided that scientology used to be very popular there.
It was very popular in the bay area – in the ’70s. Two huge things are different now, not even counting the lack of hippies these days: First, back then they had a gung-ho mission holder in the person of Martin Samuels. But even if they could somehow woo Samuels back, there’s the second problem: Thanks to the internet (which is very popular in Silicon Valley so I heard), everybody knows what scientology is up to and stays away in droves.
So scientology is just a real estate holding company now, with a small cult tacked on.
Aquamarine says
“.So scientology is just..a real estate holding company now, with a small cult tacked on.”
Well SAID.
Old Surfer Dude says
…with a small cult tacked on. ROTFLMAO! Now that’s some funny shit.
Teen says
The Bay Area has a long history of free and alternative thinking, typically not in alignment with “normal” or what would be considered “the norm”. It is a region filled with “going against the grain”. They are ripe for the pickin….
If average America believes one way, this region is known for believing the opposite….not because it’s their true belief but because it creates conflict and draws attention. This region is filled with individuals striving to be different then average. Nothing wrong with that….just makes them more vulnerable to extreme ideas and moral causes that challenge the norm.
It’s a hot bed of future cult members.
#1 Son says
Not surprising at all Joe. Mountain View and Los Gatos are lovely little communities of affluence. Follow the money…Scientology does.

Old Surfer Dude says

Can someone explain what the Mike Rinder/Vaughn Young tweet even means? I don’t get what they are trying to say.

After seeing these week after week I am convinced that there is a Dept. of Stupidity, Div. of Silliness CoS that cranks these out so that Mike has material for Thursdays. 🙂
Old Surfer Dude says
The Dept. of Stupidity is senior to all other departments.
