A: Primarily because “clear” is a fraudulent “state”, never having been attained by anyone.
I say this having attested as “clear” #5875 at FLAG back in ’78 or so. CRASHED hard into reality just afterwards, as did many “clear” attesters.
In scn one of the key principles is the “be-do-have” scale, which underlies various processes. .
However, you have to “do” to ‘be” yourself and become free, but for this, you must first “have” the money.
As for scn itself, all events are only to “have” something from you. Despite what they say, they keep working on the inverted scale.

Of course most people have more than one child so let’s say conservatively that’s 8000 new Scientologists not being made, with possibly 2000 of the oldsters kicking the bucket, which makes 10,000 Scientologists lost. Are 10,000 new Scientologists (Div 6) going to be signed up to cover this loss? Not likely. The oldersters will drop their bods, their grandchildren will be regged for Sea Org and Class V staff…loss of public, loss of public…The cult’s demise is baked in.
I have to make a comment on the Brandon Marion pic. What a cornball mug shot that is. It looks like some character out of SN: Nino the Mind Boggler. He answers your questions before you ask them.
Do they really want to hit that 10,000 number of solo NOTs? Isn’t that when they are supposed to take over the world? How are they going to spin it when nothing appears to be any different a year later?

Surveys are the key to stats: While somewhat true, knowing what your clientele need and want, is a means to provide tools and services to your clientele. But, given the current state of Co$, they’d be counting the amount of surveys, rather then what the surveys are supposed to create: an actual product people can use.
World Health day: $cn couldn’t care less about health, given they are ALL psychosomatic. What do we need a ‘health day’ for? we’re cause over our own health, are we not? (yes, yes, I know, connected to SP, out-ethics, et al), but still would be under “psychosomatic” to the degree it “affected” you, and “made you ill”, so if we’re “cause” of our own lives, wouldn’t that preclude being able to “stay healthy” anyway?
Role of Scientologist: Sure, handing over money is one role…. there are plenty: break families, audit away your “health” problems, watch your family’s health decline and insist they do ‘auditing’ to fix it. Have a deplorable existence, suppress your ability to have compassion, and empathy, oh, and of course, “sympathy” is the “worst thing you can do to another being”.
Ideal Org event: “power of posulates and tone 40”, is that another way of saying “power of giving money, and a ton of it at 40K”?

Was all this graphic art published trying to get warm bodies to attend for-profit seminars done back when Hubbs was above ground? The Thursday Funnies are a never-ending Chase-Wave-like blizzard of hoopla, often involving children, usually costing more than an average movie date, and always promising wondrous new ways to bring in the cash – so the cherch can strong-arm members for their cut, should they actually ever increase their earnings.
It all looks like a new form of a Ponzi Scheme, where organizers and speakers create events with the sole purpose of leeching money from the same tired old gaggle of true believers within the swiftly diminishing membership. The big hit of today’s Funnies was the guy who just walked away from OT7, which he will quickly find was the biggest “Win” Scientology has to offer – that of simply cutting ties, closing the checkbook, walking away from it. OT7 is one of the bigger cash-generating scams in Scientology today, an almost never-ending merry-go-round that goes just fast enough to make the money leak out of every pocket, but not fast enough to actually get to the oh-so-disappointing OT8, end of the line, now go and be yourself, the stage hypnosis is over when the super-secret and oh-so-underwhelming book of OT8 secrets closes…Snap.
There should be a subtitle to the Thursday Funnies, like “Thursday Funnies – or How The Delusional Maintain Their Delusions.” Or “It’s Only a Game, and Everyone Loses ” of “Come See the New Game, Same as the Old Game” or ” Won’t Be Fooled Again – Doh! Wanna Bet?”
Sigh. If only there really was some fun in the Funnies. Fishy, yes. Funny, no.
