This is being sent around to encourage people to attend the graduation tonight.
It gives you some idea of the spin that is going to be spun….
Screen shot of the people on stage, Chris Shelton asked that this be included to identify the “command team” members:
Tim-S says
Setting aside a Gala event hailing a suppressive act, I am thunder struck at the Command Teams uniforms. This has got to be a 1.1 dig by DM at the team to deliberately present them as badly as possible. Considering how much time and money goes into making DM look polished and slim in perfectly fitting formal wear this group looks like they got their uniforms from the Salvation Army store. The women’s jackets just long enough and fitted poorly enough to pinch the waste or flare out at the hips, wide 60’s collars flopping over onto jacket lapels like out of some Elvis movie.
If DM shows up he will no doubt be impeccably dressed making him stand out all the more. More to the point I suspect.
DollarMorgue says
DM has to make it look like progress is happening all the time. He has no other choice. I think the reality of the true state of scientology will sink in at an exponential rate with the largest concentration of scientologists on Earth. At some point their lying eyes must overule their thought-stopping minds.
And is DM winning in his own mind? I guess that depends on what game he is playing. Unless he has been making inroads into drug trade as a sideline, he will never be able to dominate again in his life as he did on the scale in scientology. My conclusion is that he is losing the game of power and domination he is really playing, and he knows it.
Bruce says
(Cue-ing the loopy sound that Robin Williams used to do, as Miscavige turns his ears in front of the audience) …”Okay, step into Lil Davey’s Mind, and watch while he bites the big one…”
Zephyr says
I don’t know but these uniforms just look aweful!
It just doesn’t help…
Greta
Foolproof says
Yes, they do – look awful that is, well, alright, not awful, but then not good either.
Foolproof says
No, you’re right Greta – they are awful – ha!
Bruce says
Perhaps “frumpy”-looking?
George says
The great things in Scientology all happen on video (only)
Graham says
‘Screen shot of ……the “command team” members’
As a ‘never-in’ I’m a little confused. These fresh-faced youngsters are the senior management team??
Battlefield Teegeeack says
I notice the first woman on the right is not wearing shoes that match the others. Is that out ethics? The women seem quite young to me to be a “command team”, but experience seems to be a liability rather than an asset; Miscavige can’t stop himself from abusing you the longer you are around. He just can’t restrain himself.
Bruce says
Such a “warm, friendly-looking” bunch, huh?
Somehow, if I were a Wog walking into their Org unawares, that militaristic stance would put me off right away….
Why would Lil Davey think that having overzealous, cold-eyed, hardcore devotees like SeaOrg members staffing his orgs would make visitors feel welcome?
tony-b says
Bruce: because he spends time in front of the mirror every afternoon when he wanks up and sees a cold-eyed hardcore reflection that pleases him,
Bruce says
That makes sense! ( wry smile )….Lil Davey is “projecting” his “brand” well, I guess…
Foolproof says
For Ideal staff members they also look rather scruffy and ill-kempt as well. On top of that the militaristic stances are not really designed to welcome people to the Org. I wonder whose valence that is? I remember the RTC women used to look stunning – it was their only pluspoint (although to be fair some of them years ago did know what they were doing technically).
Subreption. says
True. There is such a divide in reality between these two groups. SO and the field, not to mention new people.
This reorganization is SUCH the wrong move, it is hard to think with.
Mike, interesting that one of his pet projects is GAT II and the new bridge entrance line-up, purif, SRD, that if something happened to the compliance to those two things, by LA Org staff, he would have lost it.
Some feedback that made him reach this point-of-no-return action?
His solutions are buildings and just-add-staff, or just remove staff. His default.
He does not default to evaluations, surveys of actual public, analysis of actual barriers to the tech and its delivery. LRH at least defaulted to tech, most of the time.
Dunno?
hgc10 says
What’s a “wrong move” in this situation anyway? There is no move possible that can save the day, and frankly, not much that can make it any worse. This thing is swirling the drain, and DM sticking in his hand to disrupt that swirl isn’t going to cause the total volume of liquid to drain out any faster or slower. Many of already said he’s rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic — it’s an apt metaphor.
Mike Leopold says
No NEW people, just empty Orgs.
The Solution?
Import NEW staff!
It’s like 3 card monte, except with people!
Chuck Beatty says
That’s the pattern all through Scientology, actually the in house Sea Org tech of Missions would fall under your observation. The substitution of personnel like checkers on a checkerboard, the “theory” is that we’ve all lived before and done everything, so stop whining, do what you are told, you’re a Sea Org member (coin, checker, immortal being able of anything).
LRH’s checkers!
Chuck Beatty says
LRH’s immortal checkers who’ve signed billion year contracts for immortal checkerhood.
Potpie says
I wonder if there will be any graduates at graduation?
Better yet, if there are no grads, will anyone notice?
Foolproof says
Probably a few “I listened to a few tapes” Grads.
Robert Almblad says
The death of a non profitable class V Org in the center of the greatest population of Scientologists, is the real story here. The LA Org and the more troubled outer Orgs cannot survive without being put on some sort of life support. They might spin this story about sending the LA staff home, but this is really a funeral for the LA Org. It’s gone.
Chuck Beatty says
The real world offers the best no strings attached amnesty from Scientology!
Blow and accept the world’s free amnesty!

endoftheQ says
The format for the London number is wrong, it’s 020 8864 4940, you only need 020 if you’re calling from outside of London, you still need the 8 if you’re calling within. 😉
mreppen says
I helped Reno the Atrium when I was in the RPF in 97/98, it’s not that big. Will probably be filled mostly with thew Command Teams.
jgg2012 says
I didn’t see Dear Leader in that clip.
Mike Rinder says
He is too busy preparing for the mind-blowing, universe shifting IAS event coming soon to an empty hall near you…
threefeetback says
This is deserving of a return of the Apostate Air Force.
Pericles says
Ooooooooooooooooo, I am dizzy from the spin already!
yvonneschick says
If Jason is who I think he is, he was dearly loved by the outer org trainees at Flag. A breath of sanity in an insane world. No doubt they pulled the best and bright from Flag so now those stats can collapse and heads roll there. My condolences to all well meaning persons still being abused as a result of their commitment to help their fellow man.
Meja Deja says
My condolences to all well meaning persons still being abused as a result of their commitment to help their fellow man.
I join you Yvonne!
Semper Phi says
Yes Yvonne, Jason Hemphill was the Deputy Captain in charge of the Flag OOTs, and he was indeed well loved by them. He has a ton of energy and affinity, even as he is definitely a hardcore True Believer. The downstats got sent to the bilges with a bunch of ARC, making them feel like crap about themselves while convincing them it was all for their own good. I speak from experience. I am amazed to realize that, while I was miserable as an OOT under his leadership, I find I still have some residual warm feelings for him personally. That’s the sort of personality he has.
Katherine Owen says
It’s fascinating to watch (from the outside) as this Orwellian saga plays out.
From inside, it’s a drama. From the outside, it’s tragi-comical.
From the inside, it’s the unbridled, explosive, success that proves righteousness, the ultimate triumph of good against evil on a cosmic scale.
From the outside, it’s a slow motion implosion, the events and dialogue unfolding as arch satire.
I hope there are still some on the inside who are willing and able to see through the lies and the hyperbole, because, ultimately, from the outside, it’s all just pointless and sad.
Mike Rinder says
Well put. Nice to see a new poster with such a clear, intelligent comment.
ExSO AOLA says
I would like to be a fly on that wall. LA Org was a bastard stepchild for years. Looked down on by the SO at PAC base its not surprising to me. As Div six over that org there was always a bit of a disconnect between the orgs. I wonder whats going to happen to MR Vicki now.
Chuck Beatty says
Yea Vicki Shantz looks like she’s headed for some “Flag” training and processing (RPF or manual labor long time program).
Now John Lundeen and Renee Norton too, same “handling”, to Flag for spruce up.
The two places to observe would be so see if they show up in RPF garb at the Hacienda or wherever the RPF today do their duties.
One thing is the RPF has so cleaned and re-cleaned everything, there really aren’t any more “rat’s alleys” to even send the failed execs off to do their demeaning cleaning work.
Mike Rinder says
I havent seen anything about Vicki Shantz going anywhere?
Tony DePhillips says
I’m so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
Mike Rinder says
If you are fast you can still get a flight to LA and join in the festivities in person Tony…
Don’t forget to pack your exclamation points.
Tony DePhillips says
🙂
Smokey says
“Now entering an entirely new dimension”
Would that be the Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits, or Tales from the Darkside? Maybe they discovered one physics hasn’t accounted for yet?
Mike Rinder says
I think it is just one of their usual typos. Meant to say “dementia”.
Scott Campbell says
You funny, Mike.
Kronomex says
How completely and utterly underwhelming! The crowds will flock in their one’s and two’s to this “gala” event.

SILVIA says
Thank you Mike, the only problem they may have is that PAC area is deserted. JUST ANOTHER “IDEAL” WRONG WHY.
Aquamarine says
“JUST ANOTHER ‘IDEAL’ WRONG WHY.”
Laughter! Good one, Sylvia!
Jenni Silberstein says
What really struck me about this was the emphasis on how you need the Scientology Bridge in order to realize full spiritual freedom. It’s not that different from the idea that you need to accept Jesus as your personal savior in order to go to Heaven. Except that it is more expensive!
tony-b says
Come on Jenni its only a bit more expensive. Ok it depends on which version of Christianity you go for. On second thoughts scientology makes tithing look like petty cash as they don’t demand you liquidate all your assets and send them off to the ass that is a shrunken big being.
scientology411 says
Oh the spin that will be spun in the spinbin… 😉

I’m tying to handle a friend who is in but disaffected, but not disaffected enough to read the blogs. I told him about the orgs combining into one org and about the SO taking over LA Org. He believes the latter but not the former. He insinuated I made it up since I’m a bitter apostate. He refuses to look and instead says, “whatever it is, the church will eventually right itself.” His son on staff confirmed for him that the SO too over LA Org. But he isn’t buying that the Fdn and Day combined. I told him to call receptionist and she would confirm it. I also told him that combining the two orgs is against LRH policy on it. Where can I find that policy letter to send him? I think it was posted in the comments but I just re read them and can’t find it. Can someone post the whole article that LRH wrote on how it is bad to combine Day and Fdn? That way I can show him the proof.
NOLAGirl says
🙁 Your poor friend must be so confused and probably a little angry right now. I hope it all works out and he (and his family) find their way out. Please let him know there are many people out here waiting and wanting to help.
Sorry about the LRH reference. As a “never-in” there is a better chance I could find Jimmy Hoffa than an LRH quote, but I’m sure someone around here has it. Best of luck to you and your friend.
cindy says
Thank you NOLA Girl, I hope he wakes up enough to look. Right now he is not willing to look. He hides his head in the sand and says, “the church will eventually right itself” and he is too busy to do the bridge now anyway as he works 2 jobs. So at least he isn’t giving them money and is not showing up for Black Dianetics etc.
Evergree says
The policy I was shown when I suggested my org (Seattle) would be more viable if Day and Foundation combined into one org started that it is a High Crime to close an org. Don’t thank the name of date of the policy, sorry.
Dan351 says
HCO PL 7 April 1969, page 916, Org Exec Course vol. 7.
“ORG REDUCTION OR ERADICATION”
“It is an act of treason to reduce, combine or close an org.
There are several ways an org can be collapsed or closed.
1.Leave the Executive Council unfilled as posts.
2. Assign it or its executives or principals an unreal or vicious condition.
3. Combine Day Org with it’s Foundation.
4. Deny it the right to promote.
5. Involve it with insolvency such as running up huge debts.
6. Using policy to stop.
7. Inhibit initiative.
8. Reward downstats and punish upstats.”
…
“18. Use ethics suppressively.
19. Use hard ethics on the public.”
cindy says
Thank you for this Dan 351 !
